Average Travel Speeds/Times on Arterial Streets
Travel times on arterial streets have been trending up since 2024. Traffic Operations continues to actively manage traffic signals to support safety and mobility throughout the City. We've implemented more restrictive left turn phasing at many intersections, which can help improve safety but may also increase delays along corridors for through vehicles. Staff expects that travel time on arterials will continue to increase, particularly as planned projects are expected to impact vehicular travel times on several arterial streets.
