Recreation Programs - Number of activity enrollments for low-income participants

Childcare and child development classes typically see high percentages of low-income households enrolled in these programs. Remodel and construction for expanded childcare space at the Northside Aztlan Community Center in 2023 limited the number of childcare programs offered which affected total low-income enrollments. While the scorecard shows that Recreation did not meet the scorecard, overall activity enrollments for low-income participants did increase 13% from 2022.

Recreation Programs - Number of scans for low-income reduced fee passes

Recreation experienced a 5% increase in reduced fee pass scans at facilities. Recreation saw a 60% decrease in reduced fee pass visits during the pandemic. 2023 numbers are in line with pre-pandemic use.
