Percent decrease in community Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions from 2005 baseline
This is an annual measure, which has been delayed due to dependencies on other data sources. A summary of 2022 data will be reported by Q2 of 2024.
Percent decrease in municipal Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions from 2005 baseline
  • This is an annual metric reflecting 2022 data.
  • The preliminary inventory shows a 48% decrease compared to the 2005 baseline.
  • A quality check is currently being performed and any changes needed will be shared.
  • 2020 and 2022 municipal emissions were very similar, though from 2020 to 2022, the City's commitment to the Green Energy Program ended, resulting in less renewable electricity covering our consumption, and industrial waste decreased, causing a decrease in emissions.
