Trained Observer Program – Percentage of Parks and Rec Fac Grounds Ratings With No Problems

This measure is tracked for two quarters annually during the growing season. The Parks average rating met the overall target of 85% "No Problems", but the Recreation facility grounds rating is still below the 85% "No Problem" rating. Difficulties with hiring hourly workers significantly impacted cleanliness of facilities, weed control, and maintaining flower/shrub beds.

Natural Areas Programs - Cumulative Participation per Capita

In the second quarter, COVID-19 restrictions started lessening while continuing to limit programming and participation, particularly for school programs. There were 1,948 people who attended 93 activities, which is 1,088 people below the target of 3,063 participants. Activities included trailhead tabling, Boys & Girls Club programming, guided hikes, and volunteer projects.
